Barrier-Free Showers

HSAH installs both fiberglass and custom tiled showers. The first thing to consider is which one is right for you. Each has their own advantages and disadvantages.

We are an authorized dealer for Best-Bath Systems. Best-Bath mobility products are top quality and manufactured in Boise, Idaho. There are over 40 different sizes and configurations to choose from as well as standard and custom colors available. Each barrier-free shower comes equipped with 3/4" full plywood reinforcing in the walls to allow for unlimited grab bar installation.

These units come in one to four pieces and install quickly. We can typically perform an entire shower remodel in two days. Fiberglass showers are easy to maintain with no grout to worry about. They also cost less than a custom shower remodel.

Grab Bar Installation

Home Sweet Accessible Home has installed hundreds of grab bars in all shapes and sizes. We have specialized techniques and fasteners that allow any safety bars to be installed exactly where they are needed. If we are unable to match the grab bar's location to the wall framing, we can use wall anchors that allow us to achieve a safe installation rating that exceeds ADA guidelines. Our grab bars are made from stainless steel and come with a lifetime guarantee.

We stock several different types, finishes and sizes of safety bars so we can meet your grab bar needs quickly. We also carry designer styles that will complement your existing bathroom décor and fixtures.

Notice the two Moen "Kingsley" style grab bars in a brushed nickel finish. One safety bar is located at entry to shower while the other assists in getting off the shower chair.

Safety Showers

The economical Safeway Step is a great mobility product that HSAH uses to transform a standard bathtub into a low step-over shower. The Safeway Step insert reduces the step-over height by 8" allowing for a safer entry and exit of the tub. HSAH can install the Safeway Step in your bathroom in about 2-3 hours allowing you to enjoy your new safety shower right away.
